This idea would be for WiFi and GPS enabled phones. The idea here is that as you are walking around the phone would detect open WiFi hotspots and store the ssid and the GPS coordinates. The user can then opt to upload this information to the central database that would then display all of these spots on a Google Maps application. This would quickly build a very good map of WiFi hotspots.
