Geo-Game
have a multiplayer geo-based game.
perhaps something about people in the same city
on a scavenger hunt, or simply acquiring 'badges'
for every place visited on a map.
thats a great notion. you could get 'augmented reality' if the phone knew its location to within inches and knew the angle at which its being held. display the camera image, then markup buildings that have notes or extra info. the markup would be a highlight color or circle or some other marking. i guess thats not a game either. :)

I wonder how you got so good. HaHa ! This is really a fascinating blog, lots of stuff that I can get into. One thing I just want to say is that your design is so perfect ! Good idea, to extend on the badges idea maybe you could have different communities. For example, a "restaurant critic community"...and everyone could add their favorite spots on the central database on the server and when you hit these spots it would check them off on your list, you could rate them, etc. This would be a very cool way to find out about new places in your city!
