Remotix 2.4.0 for Android includes SSH tunneling support

Nulana announces the release of Remotix 2.4.0, an update to their fast and feature-packed remote desktop application for Android. Thanks to Remotix, Android users can connect to their PCs and Macs running Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and manage the remote desktop the way they used to do it on an actual computer.

touch

Remotix extended keyboard include the most important keys missing on Android like Win, Ctrl, Tab, copy/paste, and function keys (F1 through F10). There are also arrow keys to scroll and full set of multi-touch gestures: two-finger right click, scroll, pinch, zoom and pan.

Remote connection settings are flexible so that the user can change color depth or quality level while connected to a server. Adaptive quality option provides a fast and flawless remote desktop performance on average and slow connections.

On a small screen size it makes sense to enable Server-side scaling to increase connection speed. Remotix will reduce the amount of transmitted data without influence on image quality. And finally, the Clipboard mode can be turned on. In this mode it is possible to send Unicode symbols via clipboard.
