How can i save a number in SIM from my application?

Hello Guys,

I have a question about development in android.
i am new in android and i want to save a phone number from my application into a SIM card. I couldn't find the answer from google search. I would like to know if it's possible and how can i do it.
Any suggestions are welcome.
