The Galaxy Note II Has Finally Been Announced!
The world is now being introduced to the Galaxy Note II at the Samsung Unpacked event at IFA. The Galaxy Note II is packed with some new features that will make life a little easier when you’re on the go.
First things first, the Note II is sporting a 5.5 inch screen, a quad core processor, and a 3100 mAh battery. It will also get a new S-Pen (which is longer and thinner), and the phablet itself is only 9.4 mm thick. So far, so good, right?
The S-Pen adds all kinds of new functionality and features to this already jam-packed phone. Some of these features include the ability to pull the pen out and have the note app waiting to be written on. You can also take notes and create events in your planner while on the phone. Consumers also get to play with Air View. Air View allows you to hover over things to get previews of them (like emails, videos and memos). The S-Pen also adds the ability to swipe up on the screen to reveal “Quick Command”, or different ways that you can use your handy dandy S-Pen. You can also flip a photo over to write on the back of it, like you would if you had the physical photo in front of you. The S-Pen also allows allows the user to cut and paste quickly.
You’ll get the option of a gray or white Note II. It will be available in 128 countries with the option for 3G and 4G already supported. The Note II will also come with Jellybean on board (which is a relief). You’ll also get an 8 MP rear camera and a 1.9 MP front-facing camera. The Note II also comes with Smart Stay, which keeps the phone on when the user is looking at it. The launch date will be in October for Europe.
What do you think so far? Would you buy the Galaxy Note II?
