Galaxy Nexus no longer available in US play store

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is no longer available for sale in the US Google Play store following the preliminary injunction raising by Apple and the rejection of Samsung’s appeal to delay the ban.

The Galaxy Nexus entry and price remain unchanged, however the online store lists availability as “Coming Soon” and offers the chance to sign up to be notified when the device becomes available.

As a temporary solution, Google have said they are working on a patch for “Universal Search” to address the patent issue. However going forward they will support Samsung in their plans to continue the appeal.
