Any non-Internet GPS software?
Is there any GPS software for Android that doesn't require Google Maps?
I mean any software that supports common map formats such as .gpx?
Mobile internet is not cheap enough in my region for such a heavy thing as Google Maps is :/

I had thought of the same thing a long ago then after a lot of search i found that there is no such application or software which does not require internet to Show your location or help you find any location. You have to pay anyhow.
Have searched for a while on androidmarket, but couldnt find anything also, let me know if you find anything.

I think there are a few ported from other operating systems , even from windows. Like I have found the Quake game , with the files copied from the windows xp version and just the exe file extension ported so it can be installed on Android . You should check out ipmart-forum.com

all Google android use Google map , the Chinese models have some different options .

i have the same trouble with you,but i have no idea either.i buy a new ipod now ,and i found aipod music transfer ,it can make ipod music backup in computer,you just need click some buttons to transfer music from ipod to computer,it support all apples product.get a free trial.
I found a virus free application that also supported other formats of maps but it was too expensive. I did the math and it was cheaper to pay the mobile internet service and use Google Maps.

I'd say that the question asking about any non-Internet GPS software is valid and does affect us all.
