For those wanting a large screen tablet and a stock Android experience, the selection has been limited. The most common choice is Google’s Nexus 10, but unfortunately that tablet has not seen an update since its original release. Google spent more time refining their smaller Nexus 7 and left the Nexus 10 in the dust. Many have been waiting for a new Nexus 10 but have seen nothing. Recently, rumors have been spreading that Google is collaborating with HTC on a 9-inch tablet which is of course being called the Nexus 9. Fortunately, it looks like this device might be announced fairly soon.

The entire case, consisting of 4 alleged patent infringements against Motorola Mobility, has been thrown out of the courts. This is after the previously requested jury trial was tentatively dismissed a couple of weeks ago.
