kindleiceThe Kindle Fire may not see the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for some time but developers have already got it running on the device. To get Ice Cream Sandwich on a $200 tablet is a dream come true although not ready for the public it is coming along nicely. There are problems with the audio and video feedback although everything else looks to be running quite well.

Intel has begun showing off reference models of phones and tablets ahead of the annual event.

Ask someone to name a microprocessor back in the late 90's and early 2000's and you'd likely hear Intel and then maybe AMD. Jump ahead a decade and now the names that roll off of tongues are Qualcomm, NVIDIA, and Texas Instruments. Why? Simply put, we're more mobile today than ever before and Intel just hasn't figured into the smartphone game. Until now.

Huawei Gearing Up for Their Best Handset Yet?

If the date doesn’t ring any bells then let me throw three letters your way – MWC – that’s right, the event planned is just 1 day before the Mobile World Congress kick off next year.

According to the invite, the company will release their "smartest, fastest and most high-performing smartphone yet".

The past 2 handsets by Huawei were pretty good devices spec wise (vision and honor) so the next one should top those for sure.

Sony Ericsson Devices Getting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

seSony Ericssin promised a while ago that they would bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to their 2011 devices and now heres the list. They have detailed the list of phones that will get the update along with when the updates will start rolling out. The following devices will get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich between late March and early April.
