Choice Dialer extends the functionality of Android's stock voice dialer to add in iPhone's music request features and more.

Choice Dialer's settings panel allows you to set a confidence on a recognized command which is "good enough" to proceed without confirmation.

The functionality it adds to the core voice dialer's is to-the-point:

"Schedule an event for Wednesday at 5 PM" puts you on a new calendar event filled out with everything but a subject

"Play music by (artist)" and "Play songs from (album)" sets the Music app up with the desired songs.  An optional command lets you "Play the song (title)".

"Remind me to call Joe Adams on December 28th at noon" ... creates a calendar event scheduled at the appropriate time and date with subject and description all filled out, with clickable links to call Joe.

"What does a cow say?"  Moo.

"Send a text message to (contact)" addresses a new SMS and prepares you to type in the content.

Version 1.x works only with Android's and HTC's Music apps for the music features (not Tunewiki, yet)

Feedback is warmly welcomed (the app permits this to be done through a menu function).

Available on Android Market (scan barcode below).  It will be free to people who download before Jan 15 2010, at which time it will become a paid app.  All versions (paid or not) have free upgrades within major feature releases.

Could we spoke like command in the future ?

It is used with street and "go to" command. But at first impression, too much commands for several thematic may confuse the user or maybe transformed him.
